Great Things Are Going to Happen

Mom!

Hey! I love you today you know. You are such a wonderful person and truly the greatest mother in my world. I know that what you taught me has been a great help to me in the mission field. I have been transferred to Kingwood. My companion, Elder Wilson, and I have been white washed in, that makes 3 times for me to white wash, and I couldn't be more excited. I was truly humbled this transfer to be called as a Zone Leader. So that came as a shock to me, but I am up for the challenge. I have never heard of Zone Leaders being white washed but I have come to see that the Lord works in mysterious ways. I just know that great things are going to happen. Leaving Jasper was very tough and all but I know that Kingwood will be just as great an area if my attitude is right. I love missionary work and am really focusing on recognizing the spirit.

So still not in the house eh? When are you expecting that to be in? Did Emma get my birthday letter I sent her? I hope so. So many people are getting married holy smokes. Oh on the 27th we get to hear from L. Tom Perry just to let you know, so there! I love you mom!

10 Months, I Have Been Out 10 Months... Weird.

Mother!

Hey! The time goes good. 10 months, I have been out 10 months... Weird. Is it going as fast for you as it is for me? Man oh man.

So still at Grandmas eh? That's alright though. what a blessing for grandma. We visit a lot of old people and they seem so lonely so when we come by they tell us everything. It's funny.

In the Beaumont stake conference a few months ago they too addressed temple attendance. The stake president was very admant about it ha. I am so grateful for the time I was able to attend with Grandpa Jarman, I wont ever forget those thursdays. I will pray for you and your commitment to serve the Lord. I am so blessed to be part of such an amazing family. I was thinking about how much fun our late night talks were haha, good times.

I got the pacakage from Sam Reed and have just got to print my picture and send it away to Dave. I am going to have to use my home card to do so though just a heads up... I probably use that more than I should... sorry. I am on a mission though so that counts for something right? haha. Yes I am gonna milk that for as long as I can haha.

I love you! I am probably going to be transferred this week but we'll see. Calls are on Saturday so I will find out then. Take care! Oh and I think Jessica Doxeys aunt called our house, her name is Becky and lives in alpine. Her husband served here years ago. Small world eh?

A Typical Day in a Nutshell

Mom!

I do remember just vaguely that dinosaur haha. Oh man... good times. How are you doing?!! I was glad to hear you got and enjoyed my parcel. A typical day here is up at 630 workout shower eat then study from 8 to 10 then out by 10 either visiting members tracting investigators or service, pending on the day. Lunch is at noon. Then same thing as before from one to 6 which is usually dinner time. After dinner we try and see less active members and then in by 9 or 930 then planning then i have to make calls to my district then the ZL's then I write in my journal brush teeth and say prayers then to bed. That's a typical day in a nut shell. A lot of people are getting married holy crap haha. Keep me up to date on that stuff, it's always interesting.

I am doing good. It's cold in the library today, which reminds me that my feet are always freezing, no matter what. I need those booties I once had. I can't sleep sometimes because of it. I think I have some kind of a condition. Haha.

I love you mom!

I Was Nothing But Happy Talking to Ypu

Mom,

What a joy it was to hear from my family. I thought I might get home sick for the first time but really that call home was the antidote for the illness. Hearing the voices that I love the most brought me to a new appreciation for each one of my family. I love you! It sounds like everyone is doing good. I was nothing but happy talking to you. The work is the usual here in Jasper land. Transfers are coming up on the 18th of January so I am expecting a move somewhere. We'll see though. I love Jasper, it's gonna be hard to leave. I don't really think about leaving to much though. The members here have really just taken me in as their own, it's been amazing. Elder Fairbourn continues to impress me, from day one he seemed like a veteran, so that's how I always treat him. It's a good companionship, we work hard, it isn't as open as others I have been in but he is a very quiet person so its expected. I do a lot of singing and humming haha. How is the house coming? Gonna send pictures of it soon? I love pictures ps. Also thank you again SO much for the amazing contribution to Christmas you made for me. It was such a great day. Really. I didn't have the biggest breakfast but still, it was good. I love you!
